Review by Alan McColm - Editor of Quality Food Online - “This is a restaurant I had driven past for a number years, so I thought it was about time to enjoy a few hours of Indian cuisine by visiting, especially after so many of my colleagues had said I would really enjoy the food. How right they were, and I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to join others in praising the food. I was given a tour of the new restaurant, including a large and impressive bar and a comfortable waiting area.To have such an impressive menu offering such a wide range of dishes from is quite a draw, and tasting a selection of the dishes greatly underlined the appeal of the Tamarind Tree The attentive and uniformed staff under the watchful eyes of the Manager ensured a smooth and efficient operation throughout my visit, any restaurant is judged on the quality of the food as well as the efficiency of the serving and waiting staff, The Tamarind Tree was certainly not found wanting. The Tamarind Tree is a wonderful ambassador for Indian cuisine, hospitable, colourful, and full of charm. The decoration is fresh, clean and attractive, the staff attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Under one roof it offers so much, and I certainly enjoyed every moment of my visit. My next visit will be with friends so they too can enjoy the range of the food on offer as well as the convivial ambience.” |
